Vettam Grama Panchayat achieved 100 percent achievement in property tax collection on December 12 itself. Instead of achieving the achievement by March 31, it achieved an all-time record by achieving 100 percent achievement with more than three and a half months left in the financial year. The achievement was achieved by collecting 29.7 lakhs in about nine thousand demands.
