Digi Kerala 2.0 – Mascot Naming Contest
The second phase of the Digi Kerala project, which has led Kerala towards complete digital literacy, is about to be launched. As part of the promotion of Digi Kerala 2.0, the State Bird of Kerala, the Great Hornbill (Vezhambal), has been introduced as the mascot.
Since this is the second phase of the Digi Kerala project, two hornbills, symbolically soaring on the wings of new technology, are being presented as the mascots. In order to find suitable names for these mascots, the Principal Directorate of the Local Self Government Department invites name suggestions from the general public.
Two simple, attractive, and meaningful names are sought, creatively blending:
Digital literacy
Kerala’s culture
Modern technology
Artificial Intelligence (AI)
Cyber security
