Haritha Keralam Mission
The Haritha Keralam Mission was launched in 2017 as part of the Nava Keralam Action Plan, focusing on the core concepts of water conservation, sanitation, and agricultural productivity. The mission, alongside the Sub-Commission on Sanitation and Waste Management, prioritizes waste management as a key agenda item. Haritha Keralam Mission plays a central role in coordinating the efforts of various agencies and missions involved in sanitation and waste management. Under the leadership of local self-government bodies, it works to foster these activities and promote them as a widespread initiative. The mission is primarily responsible for developing and executing campaign strategies at both the district and state levels. It has now been revamped as the navakeralam karma padhathi.
