Mission POSHAN 2.0 is an Integrated Nutrition Support Programme aimed at addressing the challenges of malnutrition in children, adolescent girls, pregnant women, and lactating mothers in India. This strategic initiative by the State Government seeks to bring about a significant shift in nutrition content and delivery, creating a convergent eco-system that promotes practices nurturing health, wellness, and immunity. In the Kerala context, POSHAN 2.0 aims to optimize the quality and delivery of food under the Supplementary Nutrition Program. The mission integrates three crucial programs/schemes, namely Anganwadi Services, Scheme for Adolescent Girls, and Poshan Abhiyaan, the latter focusing on holistic development and convergent action plans for achieving optimal nutrition.
